Aktugay; chichkanskaya Formation, Upper Precambrian.. Its type locality is lower portion of Chichkanskaya Fm., Kazakhstan - Ogurtsova and Sergeev 1989, which is in an Ediacaran basinal (siliciclastic) sandstone in the Chichkanskaya Formation of Kazakhstan.
