Type specimen: NHMUK PV P 6011. Its type locality is Nusplingen Plattenkalk, Liegende Bankkalk Fm., which is in a Kimmeridgian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal limestone in the Liegende Bankkalk Formation of Germany.
Ecology: nektonic carnivore
Distribution: found only at Nusplingen Plattenkalk, Liegende Bankkalk Fm.
