Type specimen: IVPP V33259, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is near Yangyuan Village, Zhenghe, which is in a Kimmeridgian/Tithonian mire/swamp mudstone/tuff in the Nanyuan Formation of China.
Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore
Distribution: found only at near Yangyuan Village, Zhenghe
