Type specimen: IRScNB P8781, a set of postcrania (pectoral fin). Its type locality is Mesvin-Ciply, which is in a Maastrichtian carbonate chalk in the Ciply-Malogne Phosphatic Chalk Formation of Belgium.
Ecology: nektonic carnivore
Distribution: found only at Mesvin-Ciply
