Type specimen: MPEF-PV 10570, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is Norte de Cerro Bayo 2, which is in a Maastrichtian estuary/bay mudstone in the La Colonia Formation of Argentina.
Ecology: amphibious piscivore
Distribution: found only at Norte de Cerro Bayo 2
