Belongs to Gegania according to N. F. Sohl 1960
Sister taxa: Gegania antiquata, Gegania bella, Gegania mississippiensis, Gegania vibrayeana, Tuba manzaneti
Type specimen: Its type locality is Dave Weeks place, Coon Creek, which is in a Campanian coastal sandstone in the Ripley Formation of Tennessee
Ecology: epifaunal carnivore
Distribution:
• Cretaceous of United States (3: Mississippi, Tennessee collections)
Total: 3 collections each including a single occurrence
