Type specimen: USNM 169409, a carapace. Its type locality is White Rock Creek, Dallas-Collin county line, which is in a Coniacian carbonate chalk in the Austin Chalk Formation of Texas.

Ecology: epifaunal omnivore

Distribution: found only at White Rock Creek, Dallas-Collin county line
