Type specimen: SAM P45651, a carapace. Its type locality is Canary Station, Boulia region, which is in an Albian marine horizon in the Toolebuc Formation of Australia.

Ecology: epifaunal omnivore

Distribution: found only at Canary Station, Boulia region
