Sister taxon: Bonnaspis stephenensis

Type specimen: USNM 94757, a cephalon/head (cranidium). Its type locality is 23j. 1 mile northeast of Austinville, Max Meadows Quadrangle , which is in a Delamaran carbonate dolomite in the Shady Formation of Virginia.

Ecology: nektobenthic carnivore

Distribution:

• Cambrian of United States (2: Virginia collections)

Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
