Sister taxa: Coosella helena, Coosella intermediens, Coosella kieri, Coosella perplexa, Coosella prolifica, Coosella texana

Type specimen: USNM 115619 (cranidium & pygidium). Its type locality is Warriorsmark, Huntingdon, which is in a Merioneth shallow subtidal limestone in the Warrior Formation of Pennsylvania.

Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal carnivore

Distribution:

• Cambrian of United States (15: Pennsylvania collections)
