Sister taxon: Llanoaspis convexifrons
Type specimen: USNM 95522, a cephalon/head (cranidium). Its type locality is outcrops along east road at Fredonia, which is in a Marjumian carbonate limestone in the Cap Mountain Formation of Texas.
Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal carnivore
Distribution:
• Cambrian of Canada (2: Yukon collections), United States (8: Texas)
Total: 10 collections each including a single occurrence
