Sister taxa: Chiplonkarina bifoliata, Chiplonkarina congestum, Chiplonkarina preeceorum
Type specimen: Its type locality is GS 12152, Flowerpot Bay (CH/f466), which is in a Campanian transition zone/lower shoreface sandstone in the Kahuitara Tuff Formation of New Zealand
Ecology: stationary epifaunal suspension feeder
Distribution:
• Cretaceous of New Zealand (3 collections)
Total: 3 collections each including a single occurrence
