Belongs to Hydrocephalus according to T. Weidner and A. T. Nielsen 2014
Sister taxa: Hydrocephalus vikensis, Paradoxides (Hydrocephalus) harlani
Type specimen: Its type locality is “Pod hruškou” locality, Skrje-Týřovice, which is in a Cambrian shallow subtidal siltstone/shale in the Jince Formation of Czechia
Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal carnivore
Distribution:
• Cambrian of Czechia (4 collections), Sweden (1)
• Solvan of Czechia (3)
Total: 8 collections each including a single occurrence
