Sister taxon: Bromella veritas

Type specimen: USMN 775678, a pygidium. Its type locality is USNM-44296. Smithfield Canyon - Section 2, which is in a Steptoean carbonate grainstone in the Nounan Formation of Utah.

Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal carnivore

Distribution: found only at USNM-44296. Smithfield Canyon - Section 2
