Sister taxon: Formosibittacus macularis
Type specimen: CNU-MEC-NN2022001, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Daohugou (CNU collection), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large shale in the Daohugou Formation of China.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Daohugou (CNU collection)
