Sister taxa: Kaltanetta nigra, Kaltanetta pallida
Type specimen: MNHN IF-GONF-0105, a forewing. Its type locality is GONF03, Gonfaron, which is in an Artinskian/Wordian pond siltstone in the Pelitique Formation of France.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at GONF03, Gonfaron
