Type specimen: MPC-D 100/50, a partial skeleton (an associated skeleton including the fused nasal, partial left lacrimal, partial left and right quadrate, vomer, jugal processes of left and right ectopterygoid). Its type locality is Bayshin-Tsav [SMPE] (PIN coll. 100), which is in a Turonian/Santonian terrestrial horizon in the Baynshire Formation of Mongolia.
