Type specimen: SGO.PV.1599, an otolith. Its type locality is Matanzas north (MAT), which is in a Miocene coastal sandstone in the Navidad Formation of Chile.
Ecology: nektobenthic carnivore
Distribution: found only at Matanzas north (MAT)
