Type specimen: AMNH 12113, a tooth. Its type locality is Hidden Dome Blowout, which is in a Campanian estuary/bay sandstone in the Mesaverde Formation of Wyoming.

Ecology: nektonic carnivore

Distribution: found only at Hidden Dome Blowout
