Type specimen: JPMA 2386-1. Its type locality is Rustrel, southern side of the Monts-de- Vaucluse, which is in a Barremian reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in the U2 Formation of France.

Ecology: stationary intermediate-level epifaunal suspension feeder

Distribution: found only at Rustrel, southern side of the Monts-de- Vaucluse
