Type specimen: SGO.PV 12964, a maxilla (Left maxilla fragment with M1, roots of M2 and mesial roots of M3). Its type locality is Mammal Quarry and Black Bone, which is in a Maastrichtian marginal marine mudstone/sandstone in the Dorotea Formation of Chile.
Ecology: scansorial insectivore
Distribution: found only at Mammal Quarry and Black Bone
