  • Sigmodon minor: USNM 10512, a mandible (Portion of a left lower jaw containing complete dentition )
  • Sigmodon hilli: Its type locality is Borchers, which is in a Gelasian terrestrial siltstone in the Crooked Creek Formation of Kansas.
  • Sigmodon intermedius: Its type locality is Rexroad KU Locality 2, which is in a Blancan terrestrial horizon in the Rexroad Formation of Kansas.
  • Sigmodon medius: USNM 10519, a partial skull (Portion of a right lq.wer jaw con- taining the complete dentition and an asso- ciated fragment of a right maxillary carrying the anterior two cheek teeth, possi).

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore

Distribution:

• Quaternary of United States (17: Arizona, California, Florida, Kansas collections)

• Blancan of United States (61: Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Kansas, Nebraska, Texas)

Total: 78 collections each including a single occurrence
