Sister taxon: Lanceoloolithus xiapingensis

Type specimen: 08pm-41-2-1-b, an egg. Its type locality is Xinlong-Huangtang section (bed 41), which is in a Campanian terrestrial sandstone/siltstone in the Zhutian Formation of China.

Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore

Distribution: found only at Xinlong-Huangtang section (bed 41)
