Type specimen: ONHM F-1527, a calyx. Its type locality is WKJ-1, Wadi Khawr Al Jaramah, which is in a Kungurian carbonate limestone in Oman.

Distribution: found only at WKJ-1, Wadi Khawr Al Jaramah
