Type specimen: CRILAR-Pv 151, a partial skeleton (An articulated partial skeleton composed of cranial and postcranial material). Its type locality is Quebrada de Santo Domingo fauna, which is in a Carnian/Norian fluvial-lacustrine sandstone/conglomerate in the Santo Domingo Formation of Argentina.

Ecology: planktonic suspension feeder

Distribution: found only at Quebrada de Santo Domingo fauna
