Type specimen: PF 10649, a mandible. Its type locality is RV-8266, Seymour Island, which is in a Bartonian marine horizon in the La Meseta Formation of Antarctica.
Ecology: nektobenthic carnivore
Distribution: found only at RV-8266, Seymour Island
