Type specimen: NMW 78.17G.1222. Its type locality is Dan-Ian-y-Castell Farm Quarry, Llangynog, (upper) Bolahaul Member, which is in a Moridunian coastal mudstone in the Ogof Hen Formation of the United Kingdom.

Distribution: found only at Dan-Ian-y-Castell Farm Quarry, Llangynog, (upper) Bolahaul Member
