  • Heptranchias tenuidens: Its type locality is El Mene de Acosta, which is in a Chattian marine horizon in the El Mene Formation of Venezuela
  • Heptranchias ezoensis: NSMT Pal 7421, a tooth. Its type locality is Kashima, which is in a Priabonian marine horizon in the Poronai Formation of Japan.
  • Heptranchias karagalensis: Kz-2/1/Kr, a tooth.

Ecology: nektonic carnivore

Distribution:

• Oligocene of Czechia (2 collections), Poland (4), Venezuela (1)

• Eocene of Japan (1)

Total: 8 collections each including a single occurrence
