Three specimens of C. elliptica, reported by Colom (1948; Fig 11 Nr. 65, 67, 78) from Majorca are also attributed to this species

Ecology: passively mobile planktonic
Distribution: found only at Rechenberg, 2.5km ENE of Oberwössen, "Zone 4"
