Type specimen: NHMUK C.862a. Its type locality is Copt Point, Folkestone, Lower Greensand, Bed I (v), which is in an Albian shallow subtidal sandstone in the Folkestone Formation of the United Kingdom.
Ecology: fast-moving nektonic carnivore
Distribution: found only at Copt Point, Folkestone, Lower Greensand, Bed I (v)
