Sister taxa: Paromomys alticuspis, Paromomys depressidens, Paromomys farrandi, Paromomys insignis, Paromomys maturus

Type specimen: TMP 2018.033.0249, a mandible (incomplete right dentary with p4, m1, and alveoli for i1–2, c, p2–3). Its type locality is Heatwave, which is in a Tiffanian terrestrial sandstone in the Porcupine Hills Formation of Canada.

Ecology: arboreal omnivore

Distribution:

• Paleocene of Canada (6: Alberta collections)

Total: 6 collections each including a single occurrence
