Type specimen: SFMCV-0360, a tooth. Its type locality is Kangawa River 1 (lower Iseyama Formation), which is in a Langhian submarine fan mudstone in the Iseyama Formation of Japan.
Ecology: nektonic carnivore
Distribution: found only at Kangawa River 1 (lower Iseyama Formation)
