Type specimen: LACMIP 1779, a shell. Its type locality is LACMIP 471, Vista Entrada, which is in a Piacenzian/Gelasian coastal siltstone in the Niguel Formation of California.
Ecology: epifaunal carnivore
Distribution: found only at LACMIP 471, Vista Entrada
