Sister taxa: Brachaelurus bighornensis, Brachaelurus hornerstownensis
Type specimen: MNHN PTF 430, a tooth. Its type locality is Tmp1, Templeuve quarry, which is in a Thanetian coastal sandstone in the Tuffeau de St-Omer Formation of France.
Ecology: nektobenthic carnivore
Distribution:
• Paleocene of France (2 collections)
Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
