Type specimen: MMNS VP-7334, a tooth (right m2). Its type locality is Jones Branch Local Fauna, which is in an Arikareean terrestrial claystone in the Catahoula Formation of Mississippi.
Ecology: fossorial herbivore
Distribution: found only at Jones Branch Local Fauna
