Type specimen: MUSM 3555, a tooth. Its type locality is CTA-43, Quebrada Cachiyacu, Contamana, which is in a Tortonian coastal horizon in the Pebas Formation of Peru.

Ecology: nektobenthic carnivore

Distribution:

• Miocene of Peru (4 collections)

• Oligocene of Peru (1)
