Sister taxon: Disparistromaria tenuissima
Type specimen: 2753. Its type locality is Mont Faron, Toulon, which is in an Aptian shallow subtidal limestone in France.

Distribution:
• Cretaceous of France (3 collections), Germany (1)
Total: 4 collections each including a single occurrence
