Belongs to Oxyperas (Pseudoxyperas) according to J. D. Stilwell and W. J. Zinsmeister 1992
Sister taxon: Oxyperas (Pseudoxyperas) exensis
Type specimen: USNM 365511, a shell. Its type locality is IPS 1, Cape Wiman, Seymour Island, which is in a Lutetian paralic conglomerate in the La Meseta Formation of Antarctica.
Ecology: facultatively mobile infaunal suspension feeder
Distribution:
• Eocene of Antarctica (4 collections)
Total: 4 collections each including a single occurrence
