Sister taxa: Cancellaria (Coptostoma) posunculensis, Coptostoma punjabense, Coptostoma rakhiense, Coptostoma ulmulum
Type specimen: USNM 441808, a shell. Its type locality is IPS 581, Seymour Island, which is in a Bartonian coastal sandstone in the Submeseta Formation of Antarctica.
Ecology: epifaunal carnivore
Distribution:
• Eocene of Antarctica (6 collections)
Total: 6 collections each including a single occurrence
