Type specimen: SHN.832, a partial skull (the partial premaxilla, nasals, right maxilla with 12 erupted maxillary teeth, right jugal, right ectopterygoid, right lachrymal, right prefrontal, right suprao). Its type locality is Praia do Areia do Mastro (CPGP collection), which is in a Barremian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal siltstone in the Papo Seco Formation of Portugal.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore

Distribution: found only at Praia do Areia do Mastro (CPGP collection)
