Type specimen: YDDY 10001-10041, a set of postcrania (a partial skeleton including three cervical, five dorsal and 15 caudal vertebrae, several dorsal rib fragments, nearly a dozen chevrons, an incomplete left iliu). Its type locality is Daaonai, which is in a Jurassic terrestrial mudstone/siltstone in the Fengjiahe Formation of China.
