Type specimen: UCMP 82832, a maxilla (left P3-M3). Its type locality is Slim Buttes Brule F, which is in a Whitneyan terrestrial horizon in South Dakota.

Ecology: fossorial herbivore

Distribution: found only at Slim Buttes Brule F
