Sister taxa: Indosinosuchus kalasinensis, Indosinosuchus potamosiamensis

Type specimen: PRC 205 and PRC 206, a partial skeleton (An anterior portion of the rostrum, osteoderms, and dorsal vertebrae). Its type locality is Ban Nam Pun, which is in a Bathonian/Callovian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal mudstone/lime mudstone in the Khlong Min Formation of Thailand.

Ecology: nektonic carnivore

Distribution: found only at Ban Nam Pun
