Sister taxa: Cascoplecia insolitis, Cascoplecia tridens
Type specimen: JS-Burmite 023/SDEI-Amb-002539, an exoskeleton (wing). Its type locality is Burmese amber, Kachin amber (Skartveit/SDEI collection), which is in a Cenomanian terrestrial amber in Myanmar.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Burmese amber, Kachin amber (Skartveit/SDEI collection)
