Type specimen: SMF 97235. Its type locality is Upper Hillershausen, Wuppertal area near Aprath, which is in a Visean carbonate shale/limestone in the Hillershausen Formation of Germany.
Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal deposit feeder
Distribution: found only at Upper Hillershausen, Wuppertal area near Aprath
