Type specimen: MACN-Pi 4648, a shell. Its type locality is Punta-Borjas-Cerro Chenque. 2m, which is in a Burdigalian marine sandstone in the Chenque Formation of Argentina.

Ecology: facultatively mobile low-level epifaunal suspension feeder

Distribution:

• Miocene of Argentina (1 collection)

• Oligocene to Miocene of Argentina (1)
