Type specimen: CMNFV 52216, a mandible (partial left dentary with m1–m2). Its type locality is Strathcona Fiord, which is in a Pliocene pond peat in Canada.
Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore
Distribution: found only at Strathcona Fiord
