Type specimen: UMMP 27036, a mandible (right ramus bearing m1-m3, adult). Its type locality is Fox Canyon, which is in a Blancan terrestrial horizon in the Rexroad Formation of Kansas.

Ecology: saltatorial herbivore

Distribution: found only at Fox Canyon
