Type specimen: IVPP V.9070. Its type locality is Huanhe River, Sanshilipu, which is in a Valanginian/Albian terrestrial sandstone in the Huachi-Huanhe Formation of China.
Ecology: volant piscivore
Distribution: found only at Huanhe River, Sanshilipu
