Type specimen: MPC-D/GI SPS 100/1201 (= MPC-D/GI SPS 100/51), a partial skeleton. Its type locality is Nemegt, Western Sayr, site 8 [PMPE], which is in a Maastrichtian terrestrial conglomerate/sandstone in the Nemegt Formation of Mongolia.
